In this edition of Hotspot we’re going international.

Paris is full of tourist attractions, but it’s also full of incredible skate spots. None of which are more famous than the legendary Bercy Blocks.

Just outside of Paris in Bercy is a massive stack of blocks that has been skated for years. As skating has progressed, so have the tricks that have gone down at this spot.

In the streets, it seems as if every skater is writing something on their griptape. From ‘Shake Junt’ to your own random tag, griptape art is hot right now. Allow us to introduce you to the sickest griptape artist out there, Moüse.

Inspired by graffiti and stencil art, Moüse creates one of a kind sheets of grip that will make your ride the hottest on the block. With imagery ranging from Biggie and Pac portraits to Indian chiefs and weed leafs, Moüse has something for everyone.

Watch out Ken Block, there’s a new tire melting sensation leaving tracks on the internet. Kory Keezer, an up and coming drifter out of Seattle, bangs us over the head with this Gymkhana inspired video full of insane drifting, slow-mo fire, and hard hitting hip hop. 9five Eyewear’s latest commercial features ultra-stylish, street skater Nick Tucker. Nick has been killing it for a minute now.  This kid embodies the Trukfit motto and his future is bright. Check out 9five’s Tumblr to peep Nick’s clip and their sick shades.

The mega party known as the “Zumiez 100K” went down this month in Keystone, Colorado. Along with superstar employees, on hand were Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, Andrew Reynolds, Lizard King, and Terry Kennedy.

Trukfit’s own Lil Wayne performed for the star studded crowd and even gave them a sneak peak at the new line.

The good times were flowing as the hard working Zumiez employees partied the night away with the action sports elite. There were even baby tigers roaming around, leaving everyone scrambling to get pictures.
